Since its foundation the Universidad Central de Chile has incorporated quality standards in its organizational culture. This has been expressed in its constant willingness to be submitted to the evaluation of the other institutions.
This commitment to quality assurance has always been established to guarantee that all activities contribute to the improvement of the process performance through the implementation of the appropriate mechanisms and procedures, all of which in line with our quality policy, vision and mission of the university.
As a result, in 2007 the Universidad Central de Chile, opened the Quality Assurance Department, organizational unit that reports to the Chancellor's office, whose mission is to maintain and strengthen a quality culture that creates and adds value to the teaching-learning process in order to contribute to the recognition of academic excellence.
