Rafael Castro Carrasco is a certified public accountant and auditor from Universidad de Talca and Master in Management and Public Policy from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He has worked as an auditor and supervisor in the Contraloría General de la República and held various management positions in the area of Administration and Finance at the Instituto de Desarrollo Agropecuario (INDAP). He was professor of Cost Accounting and Accounting I and II at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the Universidad Central de Chile, and was a member of the General Assembly of the Corporation from June 2011 until his resignation in November, 2013.
