He is Master of Sciences of the Universidad Federico Santa María and Doctor of Science majoring in physics from Universidad de Chile. He developed Postdoctoral stay in the Department of Physics, of Universidad de Santiago, and the Laboratory of Electronic Properties of Solids, CNRS-Grenoble, France. He has over 10 years experience in senior positions at Universidad Andres Bello; Three years as founder and first director of the Educational Technology Unit of the Academic Vice four years as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and three years as founding dean of the Faculty of Sciences of that university.
In academia, he has served as an Associate at la Universidad de Valparaíso and Andrés Bello and has lectured in undergraduate and graduate professor at prestigious national universities. It also has an extensive list of publications and experience in research projects developed at the Universidad de Chile, Santiago and Federico Santa María.
