In 2024 Dr. Eduardo Sobarzo will be part of scientific committees at important international meetings

Researcher of the Medicinal and Bioinorganic Chemistry team of the Research and Postgraduate Institute of FAMEDSA, Dr. Eduardo Sobarzo, was invited to take part in important international meetings as a member of its Scientific Committees.

Between August 19 and August 21, 2024, Dr. Sobarzo will represent our University at the International Meeting on Neurology and Brain Disorders (NEUROMEET2024), taking place in Barcelona, Spain. This instance will bring together high-level researchers, and promote excellence and globalization in research. At the meeting, there will be debates and presentations that will emphasize the main achievements in the fields of Neurology, Brain Disorders, Neuroscience, and Psychology.

Dr. Sobarzo was also invited to be part of the Scientific Committee of the 5th Ibero-American Symposium on Organic Chemistry (SIBEAQO), to be held in September 2024 in Pontevedra, Spain. He believes this is an important recognition of the research work carried out in the field of behavioral and neurodegenerative diseases since NEUROMEET convenes exponents from Asia, Europe, and North America and is the Universidad Central de Chile the only Latin American representative. For Dr. Sobarzo this is also an opportunity to present the latest advances in the pharmacological treatment of mental disorders.

In addition, his participation in the Ibero-American Symposium on Organic Chemistry -SIBEAQO-V, will allow Dr. Sobarzo to receive research that involves innovative methodologies for the generation of new and potential chemical compounds with a variety of applications, from Pharmacology to the formation of Materials.
